" A leader must always seek to improve themself before leading others "
Senior Cadet Inspector (NPCC) Seah Jin Hong

National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC)
I joined the National Police Cadet Corps as a Co-curricular activity (CCA) in 2012, and since then, NPCC has held a special place in my heart, often referred to as my second home. It will forever be etched in my memory as a place where I not only expanded my horizons but also where my true potential was nurtured and developed.

Over the course of my 10-year tenure in the corps, I have had the privilege of working alongside numerous inspiring groups and individuals, including teachers, volunteers, and fellow students. It has been an absolute honor to serve my Area, Unit, and Headquarters. Throughout my journey, I have been presented with countless opportunities, allowing me to shoulder significant responsibilities and contribute to the organization's success.
I am immensely grateful for the experiences and growth that NPCC has provided me throughout my time in the organisation. From the very beginning, I was exposed to a wide range of activities and training programs that not only honed my skills but also instilled in me important values such as discipline, teamwork, and leadership.

One of the most remarkable aspects of my NPCC journey has been the opportunity to participate in various community service initiatives. Whether it was assisting in road safety campaigns, organising events, or engaging in outreach programs, these experiences allowed me to make a positive impact on the lives of others and foster a sense of social responsibility within me.

Moreover, the friendships and camaraderie I developed within NPCC are truly invaluable. The bond forged through shared challenges, achievements, and memorable moments is something that I will cherish for a lifetime. The support and encouragement from my fellow cadets, officers, and mentors have been instrumental in my personal and professional development.

As I reflect on my time in NPCC, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude for the countless opportunities, lifelong lessons, and cherished memories that have shaped me into the person I am today. NPCC will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I will continue to carry the values and principles instilled in me throughout my future endeavours.
My journey with Orchid Park Secondary School (OPSS) has been nothing short of amazing.
Throughout my time at OPSS, I have had the opportunity to witness numerous significant occasions and milestones. It has been a privilege to serve under the guidance of exceptional teachers and witness the growth and graduation of several batches of cadets.

Currently, I have the honour of serving as the unit advisor, a role that allows me to inspire and nurture my fellow Cadet Inspectors as well as every cadet within the unit. It is a responsibility that I take to heart, as I believe in the potential of each individual to become a leader in their own right.

Being in a position to guide and shape the future leaders of OPSS is a truly rewarding experience. I strive to instill in them the values of integrity, resilience, and empathy, and to provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed not only within the corps but also in their future endeavors.
Witnessing the growth and development of the cadets under my guidance brings me immense joy and fulfillment. It is my goal to inspire them to reach their full potential and to empower them to make a positive impact in their school, community, and beyond.

As I continue my journey with OPSS, I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given to contribute to the growth and success of the cadet corps. It is my hope that the values and leadership skills instilled in the cadets will continue to shape their lives long after they leave OPSS, and that they will become influential leaders who positively influence the world around them.
It was an incredible honor to serve on board at the NPCC Headquarters, where I dedicated two years of my life as an intern. During this time, I had the privilege of working alongside highly experienced Staff Officers and officers from the Singapore Police Force, gaining invaluable insights and knowledge.

My role provided me with numerous opportunities to lead both newly minted and current serving Cadet Inspectors. Under my guidance and leadership, we tackled and triumphed over numerous major events. Together, we faced challenges head-on and emerged victorious, showcasing our teamwork, resilience, and determination.
These experiences taught me the importance of effective leadership, strategic planning, and adaptability. I learned how to inspire and motivate others, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and cohesion within the team. Witnessing the growth and success of my fellow cadets under my leadership was an incredibly rewarding experience.

The major events we undertook demanded meticulous coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to think on our feet. Through collective effort and dedication, we not only executed these events seamlessly but also garnered recognition for our outstanding performance.

Serving at the NPCC Headquarters not only deepened my appreciation for the organization but also reinforced my passion for leadership and community service. The invaluable skills and experiences gained during my time there have equipped me with the tools necessary to thrive in future endeavors.

I am grateful for the trust and confidence placed in me, and I will carry the lessons learned and memories made during my tenure at the NPCC Headquarters with me throughout my life. It was a truly transformative experience that has shaped me into a more capable and compassionate leader.
